How much power
It will have a 7.625 10 bolt. it is a pos if its a m6 it'll have 3.42 gears in it.
If its a a4 it'll have 2.73s or 3.23s . The auto cars you could prob get in to the mid 11s with stock rear. The m6, good luck you can put drag radials on it, go to the track and kill it at will. ask me how i know lol

A 7.5" 10 Bolt, also used in light trucks like the S10. 3.42 for m6 trans cars, 2.72 or 3.23 in auto depending on options
2) roughly how much power can they handle?
It is not so much as the power but rather how much force can be applied given drivetrain, tire, and suspension choice as well as the RPM the car leaves at. I have seen M6 cars blow the rear on a hard power shift while on the street and rolling down the road. I personally had my 94 z28 A4 3.23 rear last well past 100k but my stall was around 2k, and I never cut hard then a 1.7x 60 foot. M6 cars just are too hard on the parts.
3) what can you do to it?
Drive it, don't race it. No matter what mods or addons you do its still a 7.5" or so ring gear and ultimately limits potential. If you are to race it, get a better unit be it a 12 bolt, 9" a upgraded Ford 8.8, or S60. So start saving pennies
These are great cars for projects and I enjoy them very much and I like newer technology. The engine half under the cowl is annoying but as far as stock is concerned. If you race, you need to upgrade. As far as the rear is concerned.
