I am about to pick up a used 9" Moser for a good deal and was wondering how much it would cost to have it shortened? Maybe 2.5-3 inches? Whatever everybody shortens it to run a 5" backspacing. I could sell my axles to help with part of the cost. What kind of money am I looking at and where could I take it to be done?

If the housing is bare and clean we charge $150.00. Then we can order you a new set of axles and you are ready. Any reputable chassis shop should be able to do this.

How much would axles run? 31 or 33 spline?

Axles would run around $350.00. The spline depends on what center section you have.
