Default S10 rear in fbody?

I have heard they will fit. Has anyone does this? Does anything special need to be done? How does ABS hook up if I currently have a 3chan? What is the 3rd shock? If this is the case they have lots of options for rears from 3.42, 3.73, even 4.10s. If this works without alot of extra work I am gonna keep my eyes open...lemme know.

Does the S-10 use a torque arm?

LMAO, the S10 is a truck (small but still a truck). It has a leaf spring rear suspension. They also mostly use the 7.5" 10 bolt. A few of them had an 8.5" 10 bolt but all S-series trucks were leaf spring. Maybe you should check out the rear axle for a '26 Plymouth. I hear it had a torque arm.

I'll leave the flaming, ridiculing, and less than subtle suggestions to try searches to others.

Maybe I misread and they swap out the differential?

Hmmm...I've heard of S10 guys using the torsen differential out of an F-body. I even used one in one of my my S-series trucks. Given the lower power output of the S-series trucks it holds up, and is worlds better than the gov-bomb that GM put in some of them. Can't think of a diff out of a 7.5" 10 bolt S-series axle that would solve any rear axle durability issues in an F-body.

Not really worried about durability. Not yet at least...I am looking for a quick upgrade from my 2.73's. Hard pressed to find a rear from a fbody around me. Junk yards have a bunch but alot want 400-600.
