Default 3.90 gear question

i have a zexel torsion posi set up and i have heard that the 3.90 gears will be so tall that i wont be able to get the block in the posi to keep the axles spread apart. is there a mod that i can do to make this work?

on the torsen posi's you have to shave the block slightly to get it to pass the edge of the gear tooth on 4.10s. my 3.73s didnt require it.

I had 4.10's in mine a few years ago and I had to grind down the tips on a few teeth on the ring gear to get the block out, no problem with the 3.73's though.

I have 3.90's with a Torsen. The block goes right in with no problem whatsoever.
