Currie was the Best 9 inch i ever had, i sold the car it was a third gen, it ran low 9s at over 145 at 2700 feet, i made 6 seasons of racing, about 1200 1/4 mile passes, it never made a peep! or whine! my moser 9 inch in my 2002 is nothing but a headache it made noise the first second i drove it and still does.

While I respect your opinion, the Callies cranks (which I consider some of the best) are also made in China. Is there something else which may give prospective buyers pause?
