I bought my car with Moser 12 bolts rearend and the ratio for the gears 4.10

My question is, I want to change the gears from 4.10 to 3.42 but how to choose the right gears?

Here's what I have from the old owner: Moser 12 Bolt with 410 gear (Truetrac Diff) 33 spline axles

Well since it has 4.10 gears you need 3.42s for a 4 series carrier. I don't believe they are available. If you want to put 3.42s in it you're going to have to change carriers to a 3 series. If you could compromise and deal w/ 3.73s, they are available for a 4 series. Hope this helps.

why would you want to do this? 4.10s are far superior except maybe over 120 MPH.

edit: i guess with 700 hp it doesn't really matter
