How much self control do you have? 10-bolts don't just grenade for no reason, but do so pretty easily when subjected to abuse. If you drive like a grandma, it will never be an issue.

As you already stated, this subject has been beaten to death. Bottom line:

The physical size of the ring, pinion, and differential makes beefing up a 10-bolt a futile effort.

If you can't afford the proper fix, you'll have to weigh the risks vs. reward. Putting money into new gears in a 10-bolt could be better spent on a larger rear end IMO.

I would say the things that break the most would be gears and axles.

My question to you is are you running sticky tires or not? If not then it should last longer.

Usual chain of events. Get told not to waste money on a 10 bolt. Waste money anyway. Blow up 10 bolt. Post how sorry you are because you didnt listen. I know, I did it.
