2.73 TO 3.73 difference?
What kind of difference am I able to see switching my gears out? My car is a daily driver and would MAYBE see 1 track day a year.
i had 3.73's in my lt4 T/A and oved how it could just roast tires from a roll. With my car, 2000 vette bullets and flip tie mod and crappy 2.73's, what kind of performance difference will i see?
How much if any 1/4 mile will it help? Or more realistically, what difference can i see in "spirited driving" on the road?
Thanks!

edit: I am looking at the motive 3.73 gears for 7.5 rears.

my 3.23 to 3.73 seemed to be good for almost 3 mph, no ET reduction as the track was slick as **** that night. Got a buddy, we are swapping his 2.73s for 4.10s to make it a red light racer You will notice quite a bit of SOTP difference and well as around town cruising it will pick up speed without having to go to a lower gear. Pulling up hills without downshifting, you know stuff like that.

my 02 camaro z28 came with 2.73's and i switched them out to Moser 3.73s but the locker had to be changed out also. i went with the detroit true trac locker. I love my gears. HUGE difference in take off. Smoke the tires easy. mines is a daily diver also your MPG will drop a little but to me its well worth it!

Launching!
I went from 3.42's to 4.11's and felt a big difference. It felt like the car reved up faster and yes, going up hills and not having to downshift is nice. I can actually use my 6th gear at 60 mph, while maintaining a healthy 1.5rpms.
