Default Finally blew up the 10bolt.

Well, its official, i blew the rear end up.

I still have to take it apart to see what the official damage is, but my guess is the posi unit blew, and might have taken out some other stuff.

Up in the air, when you turn one wheel, the other doesn't turn, and it's making some other god awful noises.

All in all, it served me pretty well, almost 1.5yrs @ right around 600hp and 500tq with a 6 speed.
I didn't beat the **** out of it all that much ...

Was debating to try and fix the 10bolt, just to get through the rest of the year, but have decided against it.

Ohh well, guess its time for a 9"!!!!

Definitely the smartest thing you can do. Hell, I'm surprised the 10-bolt didn't explode after your first hard launch.

Well, to be honest i only had about 3 good hard launches on it, all with in the last 3 weeks.
Looking back i hurt something on the 2nd, got a little worse on the 3rd.
It broke on the 4th

I never really launched it hard, because i knew the 10bolt wouldn't take it, and i really wasn't ready to drop the money on the 9".

But now I'm ready to do the 9" and rear suspension!!!

Mike, even with you taking it easy on it, you're lucky it lasted as long as it did. Bob
