Default Help...urgent!!!

ok heres the deal, i just installed my moser 9'' that i had built to the max. full spool, 35 spline axles, etc. just started up the car to do the 3 minuites forward, 3 mins reverve on the jackstands as moser suggested. my rear is whining really loudly right now. i want to know if this is normal. the car is still on jackstands and i have already done the initial run (3mins forward, 3 mins back.) its probobaly notmal, but i just wanted someones input to assure me that i am not tearing up the $3000 dollar rearend i just put in this car. any reassurance is greatle appreciated.

You did add gear lube, didn't you? You should not have much gear whine, you may have a little more initially as the gears break in. Bob

thats odd, I mean surely its not gonna be silent up in the air just spinning but it shouldnt be loud either. Gear oil would surely help quiet it down and make the rear last longer
