any issues for 4.10 on slow speed in the street ?

Default any issues for 4.10 on slow speed in the street ?

i just got the 4.10 on
and in low speed i get vibration.. while am in the 1st gear

is that normal ?

I don't have any vibrations from my 4.10, probably a trany mount or the torque arm might have came loose since your gear install

i dont think so i checked that and its okay


dunno whats wrong

someone told me its normal .. many mods and a very close ratio cuase this .. !?

my car made 375 Hp
is that too much power for the street ?
is that matter ?

LOL too much power for the street? no. are the gears whining or howling? how are your driveshaft ujoints? that would cause your vibration. try rotating your driveshaft 180 degrees if nothing else works.

Is this vibration when your accelerating, or slowing down? How long has the new gear set been in the car, could be a failing pinion bearing as well.

GM 4.11's just installed in my car, no low speed issues to speak of. For the first 1k miles there was a howl from 50-65mph. It went away after that.

The reason I had my gears changed is because the pinion bearing was bad (labor has to be done anyways right?). With a bad pinion bearing, there was a "speed sensitive" howl that started at 5mph and eventually turned into more of a whistle at around 35+. Did you reuse your original bearings?
