Default Swapping a rear

Sooooo I know this is more of a V8 forum and everthing tbut i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I found a rear for $350. It's out of a 94 Z, so it has discs, posi, and 3.42 gears, and has 65K miles on it.

I have a v6 95. How hard would it be to swap it into my car? Are the brake proportioning valves and everything the same? Would everything just match up and bolt on no problem? I'm just wondering. If it's an easy swap I might just do it.

Thanks guys!

I would imagine brakes would be the same, IIRC they aren't different from v6/v8, just lt1 style to ls1 style they are. Also, not all Z's are 3.42's, just the 6 speeds if you didn't know that already. As far as suspension and everything else goes, it should be identical to bolt in. Spend and afternoon doing it. I'd double check on the brakes though, as I'm not familiar with the earlier 4th gens.

I bolted a 95 Formula LT1 Manual tranny rear end into my 94 v-6 Bird. Both had drum brakes.
