Default Best U-Join for LT1 steel driveshaft

Long story short... I had some U-joint from my uncles garage installed (it had a grease fitting on it) and not even 3k miles later, it grenaded... fucked my driveshaft up and deployed my air bag... this was a LS1 driveshaft.

anyway, Im taking care of everything else, but now my old LT1 driveshaft... I want it to NOT EVER explode when im making stock power on god damn street tires. What brand U-joint do you guys recommend? thanks!

Your U-joint exploded causing your airbag to deploy? Did I read that right. Damn why not just an auto zone u joint with a lifetime warranty

Spicer brand..........and yes I had heard they can set off the airbags bc the airbag controller is under the center console. A direct blow can well...set off the airbags.

Go with Spicer or Neapco Brute Force. NEVER use a greasable one because they are hollow to allow room for the grease. This in turn makes them weaker than a solid one that is sealed and greased.
