Default Spool for a 9"

I got ahold of a Nodular Iron Case and I'm building that into my Track Rear. I have a set of 3.89's for it, what would be a great Spool for it?

I have 31 Spline Axles..

Here is a spool that I would recommend on eBay:

If you are interested in used stuff I think I have a used 31 spline spool at the house. Just email me at john@motorsports-media.com and I'll check.

For new I'd get Moser or Strange probably.

I'm running a strange spool in my 9" with 31 splines and it works great, no problems at all with it.

I have 31 Spline Axles..
Double check your bore size on that case. It should be 3.062 for a 31 spline spool or differential.

Are you talking about the Pinion Support Bearing size?

Differential bore size in the case or center section.

I don't have it with me at the moment..I know that the Screw-in Adjusters are the same size as the stock 9" Center that I got with it.

I got two compete 9" Centers off of a kid on Craigslist for $65, one was the Nodular one so I kept that, the other was stock so I kept all the bolts and stuff and scrapped it.

The 31 spline spool that I linked you to on eBay will fit both a 2.89" or 3.06" case, but not a 3.25" case. If you have a factory center section case you are good to go, as they did not make a factory 3.25" case. If you have an aftermarket center section case you need to make sure that it is either a 2.89" or a 3.06" case.
