Default Does a 12 bolt require a new driveshaft

I was wondering if a new 12 bolt, probably a Strange one, requires a new driveshaft? I heard that a 12 bolt is a different length than the stock driveshaft. Also how tough is the stock aluminum driveshaft?

The stock driveshaft will work with any of the Strange 12 bolts. You'll have to swap out the u-joint for the bigger yoke.

The Moser offers a "billet" yoke. It is longer than the standard yoke. If you use that, I been told you will need a shorter driveshaft.
