Hi guys. I am installing PP STG2 LS6 Heads and TSP 231/237 Cam with a spec stg 3 clutch and i was wondering if i dont launch hard and baby it if my rear will hold up with drag radials. I rarely get to the track and i may race 1 time a month and 99 out of 100 of those races are from a roll. So what do yall think will my rear hold up until april or so?

FYI-I cracked my pinion making a left turn on the street. My car is barely pushing 350rwhp.

I have the same combo as you and I'm on my 3rd stock rear. Btw.. none of my breaks have been at the track.. only on the street. This last one has lasted 12,000 miles so far. Maybe my first two were just weak or something.

I think its pure luck. I broke 3 rear ends STOCK, the last one has lasted almost 20k miles, several trips to the track, and more 5k+ launches on the street that I can even imagine. Mods in the sig. I have 315nittos on the back too, so they are sticky. I just ordered a 12bolt, but thats just to cover my ***.
