Default Weird rear end question

Im sure someone has ran into this before. A friend is looking at picking a rear end up on the way to a mod day. He will be in his camaro. My question is, has anyone fit a rear end (lets say complete from caliper to caliper), in there camaro and be able to get the hatch shut? i would think its possible.

It would probably be possible if you laid down the rear back upper seat and removed the passenger seat. Passenger seat comes out quick.

It is approximately 68 inches from the end of the end of lug (driver) to end of lug (passenger). You will gain a few inches on the back side if you were to remove the rotor which will drop backward end up in the hatch by couple of inches. If your remove the backing plate and rotor it should fit.

This all assumes you remove the passenger seat. No way if don't remove the passenger seat and don't want to lay the forward end between the seats on your console.

There isn't a lot of room under the rear hatch window until you get forward of rear the speakers.

If the pu is in city - uhaul truck for one day - $29.95.

It might fit, but my advice would be find someone with a truck. You'd definately have to take the passenger seat out, and wrap it up with towels REALLY well, and hope it doesn't slide around...
