Default what rear?

I have a 95 bird did that come with a 8.5 rear or what? and how do I know if it has posi, limited slip in it?

7.5. Jack the rear of the car off the ground, put it in park or first if a manual, engine OFF. go to one side of the car and see if you can manually rotate the tire. It it turns and the other side turns the opposite direction, it's not posi. If you can't rotate it, it's probably posi.

Or do a burn out in front of the house and see if it leaves TWO black marks.

Do what he says^^^ but sometimes the burnout thing doesn't work, my truck would catch "posi" during a burnout on flat pavement, even though it was open diff.
