Default ah. yah. 3.73s.

Just put some 3.73s in the mule, rebuilt rear end. guy who installed claimed I should go easy on the gears about 500 miles or they might start whining. whats the word on this? I'm ready to run this monster. Pulling power is way better than 3.42s for sure.

Street cars, you should drive it about 20 miles, then let it coold off. Repeat 2 or 3 times, then drive it about a tank of fuel and the cool off. Then you should be good to go.

For the record, it wasn't 20 miles in the first trip out. I drove 10 then did a cool down. On the way back from the second ten is when I stood on it. Then on the third drive I laid into it some more. Not from a dig though.

lol. We all know were "suppossed" to take it easy. However every new mod the car gets you need to feel the new found power. Cant imagine how long my motor would last if I got a built motor with a procharger strapped to it lol.

I can't seem to keep mine quiet. Twice they were fine until I took the car to the track. It has been apart and everything looks great so I'm just going to ignore the noise now.

I was basically told the same thing. Most likely overkill, by I also changed the gear oil at the 500 mile mark. Whether or not it was needed, I did it for peace of mind.

I have done this on every street gear that I have installed (about 20) and have never had a whinning problem. On my drag car, I put them in and take it to the track.
