Default what all is needed?

well my rear end finally crapped out so im a little curious as what i will be needing to order a rear end? i right now have no idea what ill need and am looking to spend under $2400. right now im lowered on with relocation brackets is there a rear end that will work with my set up?

do i actually need to run abs that 3 channel or 4 channel stuff or can go without..... does it take any modding or is this just a straight bolt in style?

You don't need to run the 3 or 4 channel. If you don't hook it up you'll have a light on the dash to contend with, but that is all. The front ABS brakes won't work either, the car will be back to old school brakes, which is the way I prefer them myself.

It is basically a bolt in unit, I have step by step directions at that same link if you scroll down farther. Bob

Sorry to jump into your thread, but I have the same problem. Mine is about dead, I'm making little over 600 and probally even more torque. I had already planned on getting a 9" from epp. I don't really know which one I should get. The car is mostly a street car, a weekend street car but still a street car. I would like to beable to drive to work if I choose but also have a rear that will hold up to a turbo and 2 step when I go to the track.

My car is a manual with a spec 3+ in it.
