I ordered my whole setup (moser M9, driveshaft, bmr swaybar, etc) from Exotic Performance and couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. Good luck!!

I talked to both Scott and Bob when I bought my 9". Both were very helpful and answered all my questions. I ended up going with Scott because he gave me a great deal on both the rearend and a driveshaft. I don't think I would have any problem with purchasing parts from either one of them. I do have a slight noise in the rear around 55mph but I parked the car for the winter before I was able to change the fluid and I think once I clean the rear and change the fluid the noise will decrease.

for a Fabricated rear, Midwest Chassis, Eric- (SSvert99) or Steve Burger- (Burkhart Chassis)...... The M9 rears are pricey if thats what you want, Bob (EPP) can cover those. if it's a standard 9", EPP, and Jaws gear look good. You have to weight the options of what you want in the long run. Seems like the fab'd rears are the way to go now.

i bought my 9 and driveshaft through Bob @ EPP. I would highly recommend that you buy your rear through him.

Thanks for the suggestion to use us. Yes, we are relatively new to the ls1tech board but have been doing differentials for over 15 years. Keep in mind DIFFERENTIALS ARE ALL WE DO so we know how to do the job right. Let me know if we can help you out.

I can answer any questions you may have. We have been doing fab 9 rear ends since 1994. All of them are custom to your specific needs. Let me know if I can help.

midwest chassis has the best product for the price. Get a fabed rearend with torque arm for the price of standard one from everyone else.

Is it true that the M9 is for off road use only? Could I use the M9 on my DD?

Sorry, I just couldn't hold off any longer... lol

Yes, it can be used as a daily driver, but... This is a serious drag racing style torque arm, and it may make some noise. How much? It's pretty quiet in my car, much quieter than my Spohn 405 was, but Moser doesn't want to sell these M9 rears to the street crowd without them knowing that their may be some noise associated with it.
I was literally shocked at how hard my car hooked with this torque arm on M/T drag radials and a powerglide transmission. We did not have any time to really set the chassis up before memphis, and it did a 1.29 60 ft. I am sure this year we'll get the 60ft times down even more with my car. Bob
