Default drag radials?

I got a 2000 z28 6-speed, it has full exhaust, and a 4.10. I was wondering if Nittos will snap my axles or differential if I put them on. Thanks .

Driver determines how long a 10 bolt will last. But to make the answer simple, avoid DRs at all cost

As long as your not out trying to dead hook the car you should be ok. I went 10.6@134mph on a stock 10 bolt. but I was slipping the clutch out of the hole. But I had a buddy with a bolt on 00 Firehawk with suspension work and a Grabby clutch snap 2 axles 2 different times at the track

I wouldn't do it... could be a catastrophic event.... A little less of a chance with the rear disc brakes to hold the wheel on but still a scary proposition

I cut 1.5x 60' on 555R on a stock 10 bolt.

Search on youtube for Nitto 555R, you'll probably find the video of my black TA launching at the track.

I think your clutch would take a dump before you snap an axle.

the Nittos will for sure make it easier to brake something. Just no hard launches. Like me take it easy out the hole.

i agree with u... no matter what u do the stock 10 bolt will break.. but guys with a4 dont have to many problems unless they start hitting it with a 150 or 200 shot right out of the hole... then things start to break

I said for Months that Id never race my car at the track, never put slicks on it so I dont need a good rear..Well Guess what..it changes

When I first broke my rear..I was like Ahhh lets fix it buy the best of everything and Ill be good. Well Iv started racing it more and beating on it with stickeys.

I bought good axles, cover, a brace kit thats suppose to help from flex(everything)..All that crap adds up and was like 2/3s of a 12 bolt new..a good used one is $1500 average.

The first time I put drag radials on it..it went to whining really reallybad...Guess what Im doing right now..Im saving up for a 12 bolt and drag wheels..(my rears gone) Never said Id do it but..it happens time and time again lol..

Put them on there and I bet in a month youll be buying a rearend..
