Iv got a buddy that Im about to buy a rearend from. Im not really wanting a 12bolt but I dont race too much.

He has a spooled 3:73 gear now. I want to run like a 4:30 or 4:56 in mine.(6 speed 28in tire) but anyway..

I should just be albe to change gears and be good to go right?

I would call Moser or Strange and ask. I swaped from 4.10 to 3.73 gears in a 12 bolt for a buddy of minein his Moser 12 bolt and he had to buy a different Spool because it was a different carrier.

He said it was a 4 series carrier..so from what Iv found it will work..Ill keep lookn though..

with the 4 series your good to change gears to what you want but you wont be able to go down to like a 3.50 gear or something.
