Default moser rear question

Okay, im going to order my 9 in a cpl days just wanna make sure ive thought it thru right this is what im at right now..the car is 2002 ss a4 no big mods yet.

moser 9 in. maybe narrow 2 in per side to save weight
spool 3.70 gear
4 channel 35 spline axle
iron center section
relocation brackets
drain and fill plugs

I do plan on some spray on the stock block and some DR with draglites
15x10 w/5.5 bs, Now the car is at stock height do i need a phb or anything once rear is installed?
I'm also putting in my bilsteins i just got for the front and rear i plan on some chromoly single adj. lca with poly mounts. Tell me what you think if i missed anything please let me know. Should i go lower gears so when i get new stall prolly a yank 3600-4000ss or stay at 3.70?

IMO.... 35 spline axles are a big overkill and heavy ! ( Unless your making 600 rwhp ! ) Your car is A4 so maybe consider a 12 bolt ? its supposed to be a little lighter , and it takes slightly less power to turn ! as for your gear , 3.70 should work great with the converter you mentioned ! Have fun .... Drive Safe !

Check out this link of information that I put together, subframe connectors are the first mod I recommend. 3.75 to 4.11 gears are generally what I recommend.

Here is my link to the Moser 9 inch rears.

Here is a link as to why I prefer the 9 inch over the 12 bolt.

Let me know if you have any questions. Bob

Car already has umi 3 point sfc's, 35 spline is because of future mods, It's not a dd but i do wanna drive it to the track run and drive home. I plan on nitrous til I build my 408, Then im going fi and if/when i lose the tranny then im going t400 setup with trans brake

Narrowing 2 inches to save weight is backwards. Narrow if you want a deeper dish on a wheel. Aluminum center section if you're concerned about weight
