Is $400.00 good price to take out old 10 bolt install new moser 9in. complete drive in drive out?

that should be 1.5 to 2 hr job... so i say it's a bit pricy

I'd say it is a good price. If you're installing a Moser 9 inch, you have to remove the old 10 bolt axles and press off the bearings so that you can reuse the brake backing plates. It's not hard but it takes some time. You then install the backing plates on the new 9 inch axles, install the bearings and install the axles into the rear after having installed the Moser pre-assembled center section. Bob
