Default S60 looks good

So I found a little leak out of the axle tubes on my 2 year old Strange Dana 60 a few weeks back.

Went to the forums here and found that means my inner axle seals are f*ed most likely due to a bad axle vent (checked and sure enough not much air was making it through).

So I pulled the axle and took it to a local shop to have the seals and bearings replaced. Got it back and decided since it was out, why not make it look decent too.

What it looked like when I started

After taking a wirewheel to half of it

After prep and paint with rustbullet.

The replacement vent (a fuel filter)

Slapped the nice aluminum cover Strange offers on because the crappy chrome one leaked a bit too

Bolted back up on the car

Put a set of UMI 3-point subframe connectors on while the car was up in the air. Bolted up nice. Can't wait to test them out.

Anyway, just figured I'd post some pics since I took them. Definately an improvement over what it looked like before. The whole reason I didn't paint it when I first got it was because I didn't install it (didn't have a garage at the time)

That is a very good looking rear end. Good job in removing that rust and making that look good again.
