Default 9" Moser help needed

I found a large needle bearing in the garage by my 9" Moser, does the rear end use needle bearings?

The only needle bearings that I can think of would be in the u-joints. The 9" doesnt have any iirc.

the rearend itself should only have ball or tapered style bearings in it, regardless of manufacturer. if the part was about the size of a pencil lead, then chances are it is out of the driveshaft u-joint.

No it was bigger than that but smaller than a roller bearing. Thanks, I had the axles out part way and found it a couple of days later. I didn't think it had needle bearings but for piece of mind wanted your input.
