Default How much time saved of qt mile with 3.73 gears?

I've got 360rwhp and 358rwtq. Right now I have 3.23 gears with the m6. How much time will I save on the quarter mile with 3.73 gears?

i have never heard of a m6 car with 3.23's? i think you have 3.42's with the m6. ok....my 01 m6 had 3.42's and i added 3.73's w/a 12bolt. i did'nt gain anything at the track but my car did run more consistant times. the 3.73's seemed to help more on the highway. sorry i can't help more.

Well.. did you buy the car new?

Factory M6's only came with one gear...

3.42

3.23 was the performance gear option available on Automatiacs only.

Go to this site and check it out; http://hometown.aol.com/mhurley943/Specs.html
As an option you could order a 3.23 axle with aluminum drive shaft.

I don't think the M6's came with 3.23. The skip shift would be be unbearable at that gearing (even more than usual).

Look underneath the auto. It says manual 6 speed ratio's with the 3.23 w/aluminum drive shaft as an option. As for the skip shift it is a BIIIGGG pain in the *** because the car lugs really hard.

How would that gear help you on the Hwy? I have a Vig 3600 w/3.23s and thought about a 3.73 but I would think that would be terrible on the HWY gas milage.
