Ok, so I just drove to Walgreens, and everything was fine. Got back into my car, and I noticed a whistling sound coming from the rear. It sounds like when there's a small crack in your house window and the wind blows through it, like howling. But the thing is, I can be in park and just give it a little gas, and the sound gets louder with the RPM's.

Any idea what this is?

Not the rear end if you are in park. Probably a vacuum leak.

Could be a exhaust leak. If your car is not moving, your rear end will not make sounds.

Check that 45 degree rubber elbow between the TB and PCV valve.

It usually rips open on the bottom side where you cant see it, you'll have to feel for it.

That's what I was thinking. It HAS to be an exhaust leak. Come to think of it, my elec. cutout stopped working the other day. It won't close anymore. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Well, it's definitely coming from the rear of the car. It SOUNDS like it's coming RIGHT from the differential area, so that's what had me wondering.

I've heard that too, but it never made a sound until now, almost a year later.
