Dana 60 and bmr torque arm relocation mount with 4l80 clearance tips My bmr torque arm was hitting my trans tunnel. Very annoying. We moved over rear end a bit with adjustable panhard but didn't want to go any more over.Had to clearance tunnel was sick of constant sharp banging over any sizeable bump.
But how to clearance without taking off driveshaft or torque arm? We found a 1 by 4 piece of wood fit in there great and hit it with baby sledge. Just had car on jacks no overhead hoist at my house! LOL
That clearanced it up just fine. Also if still do have any issue am going to simple lath the bolt in crossmember thinner but think problem is solved.
Test drive was blissfully free of banging.
Oh and just wanted to add had cut torque arm bracket so could move it as far to passenger side as possible already.
