I have tried a search and no luck, and not sure if this is the right section but some guy is wanting to run me and he wants 45 roll, because he says its his sweet spot. And asked what I want.


So whats the sweet spot for my car, I never can tell, its full bolt ons, 224 cam, and 4.10s. Is there a sweet spot (by this I mean best place to go for a roll race)??

About the same for you. 4300rpm in 2nd with 4.10s should put you right in your powerband. Should be straight, as long as you don't spin.

1st gear = 20-30

2nd gear = 40-50

3rd = 60-70

Anything much over 20 in 1st is kinda high, can be tricky to hook.
If he wants a 2nd gear roll 40-50 will be good for you.
Better yet....do a DIG.

A 40 roll should be pretty good for you. Depending on what you are planning on racing.

Traction shouldnt be too much of an issue seeing your mods. Good luck.

ahahahah cobalt my girlfriend drives a cobalt ss i saw her flying up on me i was doing 80mph put it in 3rd and just put miles on her she gets home and says i was flying and right when i was gona pass you your gone lol, although hers is stock...i love when people want to race from 40 or 50 2nd gear with 4.10s

I have 3.42 cammed ta and i like 40-45 rolls. 1st gear at 5k. Shifting at 6500k

A 40 roll is perfect. If you do a 50, be ready to grab third because second gear doesn't last much past 60 mph.

I always liked a 2nd gear 40 roll with my 4.10s and heads/cam. 45 will be ok too.

I mean 40mph or 50mph roll race I love bcuz I am in 2nd gear and when I hit the gas the car just goes and most the time jumps out a car on everybody also reving to almost 7k

Why would you roll race? I would do anything that is about 3000 rpms it works great for my friend who is a big "roll racer"
