Default need advice on 3.73 or 3.42

i have 4.10s, lt, bbkssi intake, lid, pnp tb, pnp maf ends, built tranny with 2800 stall and a 100 wet shot with a 26 inch tall tire. my best et has been 7.54 @ 92 with a 1.54 60ft. im not to happy with my 4.10s and i can get a deal on some gm 3.42s but im wondering if i will go faster with 3.73s or if the difference will be noticable at all from the 4.10s. any help would be appreciated and the car isnt my dd im just lookin for the best gear for the best et

I figured 373's would go best with the 26" tire cuz he's also spraying!

It has to be a combo for best performance 4.10's perform better with a 26" tire when going with N/A setup but when goin with 373's a 26" tire would perform best especially with spray except for a big shot which would benefit from a 28" tire. You're already spraying and pretty sure you'll want to up the shot so if you know you're heading that way eventually 373's is your answer. Now regarding 342's, 373's is your best shot should get you higher mph in the 1/4 mile; you couldn't tell a difference between these two streetwise.

I had a friend run 373's with a 26" tire. 150 shot and crossed the traps 200 rpms before his shift point at 6400 rpms.
i hope this helps.

Due to the smaller tire and auto tranny, i say 3.73
