Default how much power does your 10 bolt good for?

just trying to see what kind of power your guys 10 bolt are currently holding without breaking with an auto tranny??

A buddy of mine had a Cammed/ 3500 Stall/ Nitrous car that ran into the 10s many times on the stock rear with stock 3:42s. He took it out to swap something better, and its still good! Me I break them the first time I put DRs on it (6 speed)...damn the luck!!

mine broke the second pass i made. First pass 2800 leave second broke at 3500 in my stalled a4 with a yank ss4000. Ripped half the pinion off and broke a few ring gear teeth.

I think it has to do with hard hard you launch vs. overall power you make. I've read of several cars running over 450rwhp and no issues; and then a guy with simple bolt ons and drs and it breaks.
I somewhat contribute this to driving style.
