Default Budget 10 bolt?

I have read about people doing the 8.8" ford rear end swap.

Has anyone tried modifying a 10 bolt from a B car? I have access to 2 Caprice/Impala SS rear ends. They are stock G80 (posi) rear ends with 3.08s and disk brakes.

I know it would still require a torque arm mount but it seems like it wouldn't be any more work than an 8.8" ford. Just curious if anyone has thought about this.

Default

I have also looked at these rears because they have the ABS (not sure about the traction control though), but the biggest problems you will run into is the width and torque arm mount. One other issues is if you do get it to fit it is still in stock form, not meant for high hp application.
