Hmm... Well how do they mount LT1 brakes on a moser or any other 9"?

There must be a gm specific 9" end? Right?

A rear made for a forth gen F-Body will accept either LT1 or LS1 brake backing plates. For either setup, you'll of course need the matching rotors, calipers, lines & hoses and E brake cable.

I just did the swap to LT1 brakes on my '99.

so the choice you have is just use c clip eliminators or spend 600 on axcles and then 70 for the ends and if you do not have a jig to weld them up tack more on thats why i was saying what i was

if using stock axcles it will not work ford or chevy

TravisA, why don't you clarify what you're trying to accomplish?

Did you have, order or are going to order a 9 inch rear for your car?

I see now. It's like he posted the same question twice....

He never mentioned in this thread that he was doing an 8.8. I'll defer to you then....

I'm wanting to use the 8.8 tubes...not the 10 bolt tubes.

I was going to use the gt brakes that are already on the axle.....But if I can run a 9" end that will allow my stock brakes to work I'd rather do that.

ok you will need custom axcles and you will be ok then all you will have to do is call strange or moser and tell them what you are up to also i do not know if your abs will work if you are using it

if you do go that route i would get a 33 spline setup so you will only have to buy your stuff once if you make more power later
