Default Rear of car leaking?

Just like the title says the rear of my car seems to be leaking. I just started to notice it last month but never payed to much attention to it as it was only a few drops on the floor where the rear of the car sits. Now its still minor and hasnt increased but was wondering if this was normal? i've heard from many people that this tends to happen and as long as theres not alot of fluid (rear diff fluid im assuming) on the floor i shouldnt be concerned. So what im asking is should i leave it as is, replace the diff gasket or what. any info helps, thanks

rear pinion seal is probably leaking ,check rear end fluid level.replace the seal or run thicker rear lube.

def wanna at least check the level, you can still drive it. i personally hate leaks so i cringe when i hear about a diff leaking.

ohh and running a thicker lube will not stop the leak all together, it will only slow the process. trust me i know from experience.

look at rear diff, look on the side and you will see a plug, use a rachet to take out the plug, stick your finger in it, if you have oil on your filter, it full, if you stick your finger down far to get oil, you need fill it back up until it start to come out that hole. What year is your car ?

If it leaks its broke and need to be fixed! The pinion seal isn't bad to do just pick up a manual at the parts store.
