Default Rear end rattle

It is a running noise that changes with speed. The faster I go the higher the frequency. It's not too loud, gets absorbed by ambient noise above 70, but it gets on my nerves. It comes from the diff as far as I can tell. I checked the pinion bearing and replaced the pinion seal, but I don't feel like taking the rear end apart just for this.
Any ideas?
