Track car I'd go 4.10s but for a street car 3.73s will work well. What converter?

The converter is gonna be a bit too small for that cam, I had a 3500 with my MS3 and once I finally switched to a SS4000 it was a night and day difference. Just my $.02

Think about future goals, I have a a3 with 410s and it does great on motor and on the gas. However I can't hardly go any faster than 126-128 in the 1/4 unless I spin it over 7k which I'm not going to due to stock SB. I am now going to 373s so i have will have room to grow, probably 140 or so will be attainable. Gear swaps are usually pretty pricey, just look at all options and try some online calculators.Good Luck

Hey I'm in the same boat and was curious about the gearing too. I have a 370 cu motor on a 200 shot with the MS3 cam and a stalled 3200 vig converter. I know that stall is a little small for my cam, but I thought if I go bigger I would be blowing thru the converter on the nitrous. I have a 323 gear now, any suggestions to optimize this set up?

it would depend on what you can put into gas, how you drive your car and how much highway driving you will do. 3.73s will be your best option I had them and loved them until my recent turbo set-up. depending on how your drive/how heavy your foot is you will notice the difference with the 3.73s. 4.10s I agree would be sweet but it will hurt you with a A4 DD unless you don't mind fillin the gas tank a little more. Also a tune would work wonders like you wouldn't believe with new gearing and a stall

im one of those guys here. I am lookin for a nasty 11 timeslip when i get home, but mainly im a wow factor guy and just want a street car thats funner than shizzle. Got an f13 cam, SS4000, 4.10s and love the shizzle out of it. Blows em off at a street light, and pulls like a monster and at the track, even before cam, i was cutting 1.8s and leaving hard!

With only a 26" tire I would only do 3.73 on a street car.

Quick Reply: 3.73's or 4.10's for MS3 cam A4 car?
