Default New S60 pics...

Just took delivery of my Strange S60 with Detroit TrueTrac and 4.56 gears. I'd like to thank Midwest Chassis for a great deal and customer service. This piece from Stange is a work of art. Don't know if the pics show perfect detail but the welds are incredible. Top quality. My backing plates were delivered to Strange on Tuesday and today it's in my garage waiting for paint. Outstanding. Cannot wait to install, break in, then lay waste to my Nitto's.

I'll tell ya what.... the more I research the 60 compared to a 9inch the more I'm convinced I made a good choice for once... less money and stronger. Can't go wrong.

Mind if I ask why you chose the S60? Did you consider a 9 and if so why one over the other? I ask only because I'm on the fence between the two...tia.

Every 9 inch cost considerably more money PLUS the 60 has a 9.75" ring gear as opposed to 9". The tubes are bigger with larger bearings. I don't know if I'll ever push close to it's limits, but it's nice to know I have the option and it was less money. Strange make high quality products and they have been around forever. Just a few of the things that swayed me.

X2 on the price? Also is it a bolt in or do you need to modify anything?

Bolt right in... I don't know if I can quote prices here. I'd contact some of the vendors and get prices. MWC gave me a GREAT deal. I see that Carl who responded to this thread is also a vendor. See what he can do for ya.

SmokedoutZ28 your car is sick and sounds wicked. Did you have to do anything to fit those meats under your rear?

Awesome! Good luck with it.

What do you plan on painting it with? I HIGHLY suggest using POR-15, I used it on my 9", it came out great.

Thanks man! Nope didn't have to do anything but bolt them up. They are showing signs of rubbing on the inside I think I will either order a set with 5.25 backspacing or use a 1/4'' spacer.
