I have been strongly considering an 8.8 rear end for my car since the stock 10 bolt probably won't last very long and the 12 bolt and 9inch options are very pricey. Basically I plan to use the car for street/strip only. Street tires are all that this car will ever see. I plan to make somewhere between 4-500whp. The problem with the 8.8 rear I keep coming accross is that the bolt pattern is different from stock. This is a definate no-go for me. I absolutely want to keep the 5x120 bolt pattern. I guess what are my options? I haven't been able to find much information on the 8.8 swaps. Thanks.

get aftermarket axcles then you can have what ever bolt pattern u want

Get a 28 spline 8.8 posi and use your stock axles. Read some of the 8.8 writeups on here. I did mine this way and it works great.
