Default What weight Royal Purple to use in rear?

I've got a 93 z28 getting a new Auburn pro posi, full rebuild kit, and Motive 373's put in. I want to go with Royal Purple for the lube, but they only make a few different weights it seems. What weight should I use? In the local store they only have 75w90 and one other.

You should contact Auburn for their recommendation.

So I guess synthetic oil polishes the cones in the rear and causes them to make noise and wear faster.... weird. Oh well no RP for me lol

I contacted Strange as to why they included Lucas synthetic in my S60 but the instructions specifically said not to use synthetic, I was told those instructions were old and they currently recommend only that on the Eaton Trutracs.

Dude told me that he has heard of guys running the wrong fluid on their brand new clutch style diffs and them not even getting out on the street before they locked up.

There is also a such thing as too much lubrication on some components. Using the right fluid in the diff is very important DarkJuggalo!
