Default 2.73 to 3.23 w/ 3800 stall, ?s

Currently running 2.73s with a Yank 3800, it's obviously loose on the streets. Question is will going to 3.23s net me any noticeable difference over these 2.73s? For what it's worth the 3.23s are in a complete rearend and won't cost me hardly anything to pick up.

I appreciate any real world input.

Yes, you'll feel a very noticeable difference, that is a good jump in gear. Bob

It will feel tighter as the drivetrain will have a better mechanical advantage over the weight/mass of the vehicle. It'll seem more responsive, the stall 'lag/slip' will be lessened.

That's the best way to do a gear swap,unbolt/remove current rearend,install/boltup replacement rearend,no hassles of 'gear setup',and still have removed rearend as a backup in case of 'right foot' and traction causing breakage.

only thing that needs done is to reprogram computor to correct speedo.
