Default Will My 10 Bolt Hold Up If I Upgrade My Axles And...

I have a 10 with 3:73 gears and a ta gridle, dont know if I want to spend the money on a 12 bolt, thought about putting moser axles and a different posi. I have a 2000 trans am with 540rwhp and going to run a set of slicks but I dont drag race that much about once a week in the summer time, if you think I can get my 10 bolt to hold up which posi. to use thanks

No..

People have poured tons of $$$ into 10 bolts and still have them break. Any money you spend upgrading your 10 bolt is money you could have put towards a 12 bolt or 9".

there is no way with that much power and slicks it will live at all. people, such as myself, have broken them with a lot less power with less of a tire.

whatever you upgrade you'll find the next weakest link.

Think about this...a 10-bolt breaking can seize in such a way that can take out a tranny as well

get a 12 bolt and never worry again, if you spent the money to put down that much power, a 12 bolt should have been in the plans to begin with. sounds like a sweet *** car, so treat it right. the peice of mind alone would be worth it
