rear end went boom bitch I was playing around with a mustang yesterday(I know, not worth my trouble
) and when i hit the 1-2 pretty hard, the car immediately started making some godawful grinding noises from the rear end/DS tunnel area.
I pulled it off just assuming that the rear was gone, but it looks like i just royally fucked the U-joint(it was all torn up looking, but still intact) It looked like the DS had rubbed something as well a few inches in front of the u-joint, as it had a freshly scraped ring around it.
Should I just pull the DS and take it to a DS shop and have them replace the u-joints and balance it? how much would something like this cost? what about having a shop do all the work? the car is sitting in the garage in Dallas, and I am at school with no wheels
