How much power is lost form a 9" with Posi?

How much power is lost form a 9" with Posi? I lost 27 rwhp does that seem right? Or is something wrong? No gear whine had it professionally installed and had them double check the gears

About 3%... That's roughly 9hp if you are making 300 at the weels. If you have low gearing (3.73 or higher) that will make some power dissapear on the dyno as well.
Anything else change or just the rear? Also- how many miles since the last time it was dynoed? Is that corrected, etc?

But whatever HP you lose at the rear wheels you can make up for with a better 60' resulting in a faster 1/4 since you can launch much harder (assuming you have nice sticky tires and everythign goes well).
