Default Gear oppinions please ASAP.

Ok guys here is the situation i'm in I have a 2000 SS A4 bolt-on car with a TCI 3800 w/2.6 str.(using ET Streets). The rear is starting to whine again(already hed the replaced barings once which didn't get rid of all the whine). I think it might be the gears themselves. There is a GP going on locally for a gear install and I figured I would get in on it(expires Friday). Now here comes the desision. Should I stay with the 3.23s or go to 3.42 or 3.73's? I plan on going with a 226/226 cam soon and I think the 3.73's would work great with that cam, but I also have N20(100 shot) Now would that combo work and not shift into 4th if I set it to shift at 6400-6500?
I need your input what gears would you go with??
Thanks,
Richard

I installed 342s and its a great gear all around, I spray on it and its great. If your car is a daily driver I would not go 373s , i think that to low of a ratio for everyday driving not to mention alot harder to hook up with.

I had 3.73's in my 96 SS and drove it every day. It wasn't that bad. On the HWY 80mph was about 3000 RPM. I say if something breaks upgrade I guess I just can't see having to replace gears with the same size I had before(stock).
