Default Go or No

I'm running a 10 bolt with 4.10s, heads, cam, intake car, the next race is this thrusday and the last time I went with street tires I spint like crazy the track sucked so I don't want to take it without my ET Streets, the track is a little over 2 hours away and I definatley don't want to break down. Do you guys think I should risk it and run the ET streets or just stay home until my 9 inch comes in. Maybe run the ET streets and not leave hard? I really want an 11 second time slip and I don't want to wait until next year. So do you guys think I'll break if I'm somewhat gentle. She all ready makes a little noise? Thanks

Well I'm sure you 10 bolt is at the end of its ticking time bomb.... Mines pretty much done & I have less mods then you. But if you wanna risk it then go. I def wouldn't launch hard. If its not making any noises then you should be chill.

Don't do a John Force type burnout, just spin the tires enough to clean them off. SLIP the clutch. I cut a 1.98 60' on the pic in my sig SLIPPING the clutch as high as 4800 RPMs on 325/50/15 ET Street Radials and still drove home that night. Let it out too fast or shift super hard/fast on hot, sticky tires and kiss the 10 bolt goodbye. My friends were egging me on to go with higher RPMs or even an all out clutch dump, but I wanted to drive home. I could taste 11's, but it wasn't worth breaking at the track. Good luck.

I'd go, just take it easy out of the hole. Slip the clutch at 3400, dont bog, cut some 1.8 60's, have fun and drive home

I'm more worried about the shifts than the launch. I can always ease out but once I get rolling I can't resist the temptation to bang the hell out of it. At the track the last time I couldn't even really floor it. It was breaking hitting 3rd and 4th the track was so bad. I cut a 3.1 60 once haha. I was embarassed then I got em down to 2.3 but that was crawling out and then flooring it once I got rolling and it still just kicked sidways 1 2 3 I'd let off and then hit 4th and it'd kick a little once again. And the 10 bolt is all ready singing a little thanks
