Default Ratech Rebuilt kit / Solid pinion spacer.

the Ratech rebuild kits come with a Crush Sleeve... Is this the same as the Solid Pinion "Crush Collar"

If not is it worth it to buy it separately?

I think my solid pinion sapcer was $17.95. It was worth every penny. It won't save a 10-bolt, but will help (pinion bearing in particular) and resists deflection better.

Buy the new Ratech "Smart Sleeve". I just installed one on a 9", and it was a nice piece. It crushes like a crush sleeve and then becomes a solid spacer so you can't overshoot it.

Standard rebuild kits are gonna come with crush sleeves. Solid pinion spacers are going to cost extra and need to be purchased separately.

Thanks everyone. I didn't believe it was the same, but I wanted to double check and see everyone's opinion. I want to do this rebuild right. I was also thinking of purchasing a rear-end cover (girdle). Money well invested or would I be wasting my time?
