Strange 12bolt broken wheel stud install
So I broke a wheel stud on my Strange 12 bolt (with ABS).
So I've done some searches and here's what I've figured out:
I've seen that they are thread-in (12mm x 1.5, 2" Long) and the best part number I've found is from strange: A1035ALM.
I understand the axle has to come out. Just remove the backing plate bolts (4) and pull the axle out.
Now comes the question I can't find a for sure answer for: Does the reluctor wheel for the speed sensor have to come off the axle? It looks like the heads of the wheel studs won't clear the reluctor.
Is there anything special that needs to be aligned to reinstall the axle?
Thanks

you will have to remove the reluctor wheel on any axle to change out a wheel stud, unless it is the Strange 5/8 chromemoly type, which threads in from the outside and uses a jamb nut on the back.
you will have to remove the axle, and you may get lucky enough to get the stud past the backing plate/reluctor without removing the axle bearing... good luck
when you get it all back together, just make sure the head of the stud(s) is not touching the reluctor ring
