Guys running a spool, come inside...
How bad is the spool on the street. What handling issues / other issues do you run into.
I'll be putting a rearend in betsy soon, and would like to save some $$ by going with a spool, but am worried about the street driving. I always (and would still like to) drive the car on every nice day- so it has to be something I can live with on the street.

Lots of curves around here and I dont even know its there most of the time, hard corners have to be taken a little slower and you will find yourself turning wide when you can. I wouldnt do it on an everyday car but I drive it 60 miles each way to the track and just about everywhere when its nice out and its ok. Hard on tires though, I went with rwgular 255/60/15 radials on welds in the back with the skinneys on the front for street driving and it really doesnt drive bad at all.

If it is primarly a street car I'd say dont try to save money there.
It is just as kp says & can get worse, the axles do not like to be treated like torsion bars.
It will eventually take it's toll.
